The construction steel market on 06/02/2023 continued to see some steel plants increasing the prices of  rebar and various types of wire rod steel, despite the pressure of price hikes in construction steel gradually easing

On the first trading day of this week, many mills issued announcements regarding the increase in prices of construction steel ranging from 300 to 400 VND/kg, specifically:

Tung Ho Steel Mill (THSVC):

• Rebar: Increase by 400 VND/kg (excluding VAT)
• Wire rod: Increase by 400 VND/kg (excluding VAT)
• Effective since 06/02/2023

Viet Y Steel Mills (VIS):

• Rebar and wire rod steel: Increase by 300 VND/kg (excluding VAT)
• Valid Scope: All market regions
• Effective from 06/02/2023

Viet My Steel Mill (VAS):

• Rebar and wire rod steel: Increase by 300 VND/kg (excluding VAT)
• Effective from 06/02/2023
• Valid Scope: Central and Central Highlands

Viet Duc Steel Mill (VGS):

• Rebar and wire rod steel: Increase by 300 VND/kg (excluding VAT)
• Effective from 06/02/2023
• Valid Scope: Northern and Central markets

Hoa Phat Steel Mill:

• Rebar: Increase by 300,000 VND/ton (excluding VAT)
• Wire rod steel: Increase by 300,000 VND/ton (excluding VAT)
• Effective from 06/02/2023
• Valid Scope: Central region
