According to announcements from Viet Duc, Kyoei, VIS, and Viet Uc, the coil steel prices of these mills have been adjusted to increase by 300 VND/kg from August 29, 2022. Prices do not include VAT. Moreover, on August 30, 2022, Viet Duc announced a further increase after the previous day's announcement, specifically: coil steel increased by 100 VND/kg, construction steel increased by 200 VND/kg, and D10 construction steel increased by 300 VND/kg.

As for Pomina, the price increase is 100 VND/kg for both coil steel and construction steel.

Following the price hikes by several mills, Hoa Phat, VAS, Tisco, Tungho, and Shengli officially increased the prices of construction steel from August 30, 2022. The increase is 200 VND/kg for coil steel and applies nationwide.

Tungho announced a 300 VND/kg increase (excluding VAT) for rebar, effective from August 31, 2022.

Tomorrow, August 31, 2022, is the scheduled date for price increase announcements from the remaining mills, including Vina Kyoei and steel mills in the Southern region.

Although the construction steel market is showing a slight upward trend, this is also a sign of entering a new phase. Many experts predict that the steel prices will rise further after the September 2 holiday.
