1.Domestic scrap market: Last week, after TISCO, Southern steel, NIS increased prices. This week it was Shengli's turn to increase by 300 VND / kg, the price of type 1 increased to 12,000 VND / kg. Many scrap yards in the North, Central and South also adjusted the price increase from 100-200 VND / kg depending on the type, some places increased 300-400 VND / kg. The price of scraps increased not only for the scarcity  but also  the increasing embryos.

2.Imported scrap market: This week, many Vietnamese factories have focused on the import market with scrap shipments from Japan and scrap from the US. The price of imported scrap this week has increased from $10-15 per tonne compared to the previous week. Japan's H2 offer increased by $10-15 a tonne compared to last week, with the same increasing imported scrap price context in Southeast Asia.

3.Imported HRC Market: Vietnam's HRC market has a number of SAE 1006  orders successfully traded, mainly from India and Russia due to its reasonable price. However, Korean and Japanese enterprises still offer prices to the Vietnamese market even though the price is very high. The most active offer market is the offers from China, showing that foreign partners get to know the  positive signals in the HRC Vietnam import market.

4.Domestic HRC market: The HRC domestic market has been sideways for a relatively long time and witnessed momentum in other raw material steel markets such as workpieces and scraps in the last nearly 2 weeks. It is expected that in the coming week that the adjustments will be clearer as the epidemic situation is better controlled and the business has a new business strategy.

5.Export steel billet market: The price of steel billet exports from BF Vietnam factories increased by 10-15 USD/ ton, to 670-675 USD / ton FOB. A steel billet agreement between the Vietnamese with  EAF plant from  Philippines was pegged at $703-705 per tonne of CFR,went  up slightly from last week. In the coming week, Vietnam's export embryo prices will continue to be supported by demand in China and the other markets.

6. Domestic steel billet market: The domestic billet market set the momentum last week and followed this trend. The price of medium-frequency embryos in the main markets in the North in the first two days of the week traded around the mark of 14,500-14,800 VND /kg, and was close to the 15,000 VND/kg mark over the weekend. A number of transactions aren’t  much because the market is scarce and the price is still rising, so the parties are also more cautious.

7. Construction steel market: Although  the construction steel consumption has not recovered strongly, sentiment in the market seems to improve significantly in the last 2 weeks, some businesses received new orders. However, construction steel prices remain  sideways and the  pressure from workpieces and scraps increases.

8.Box steel market: Some factories in the South have adjusted the price of box steel, slightly reducing 100-200 VND / kg. Meanwhile, in the North, factories did not adjust but many enterprises adjusted the discount of 300 VND / kg.
